My friend Jon Leger just made a very, very insightful post on his blog.
He addresses the question of skills, getting started, product hype, fluff and content and gives some very practical advice to anyone who is just starting out in internet marketing. I don’t want to copy his post here so I’ve provided the direct link above. It’s well worth the read, as are the many comments he has on that post.
If you are a newcomer to the world of internet marketing you should set aside 20 minutes right now to read through his post and then take a look at the comments. I promise you that you’ll learn something and if you put it into practice you’ll save yourself money and – with a little bit of work – start making some money.
The single biggest mistake beginners make, apparently, is chasing after every ‘new’ opportunity. After reading Jon’s post you might just be able to avoid that mistake.
